FOR US CITIZENS WITH SICK UKRAINIAN REFUGEES RELATIVES IN POLAND, ROMANIA, SLOVAKIA, OR ANY OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRY
For anyone who has a SICK Ukrainian refugee relative stuck in Poland, Romania, Slovakia or any of the countries where the displaced Ukrainians went, I describe below the detailed procedure of how to get someone with a Medical problem expedited for a Visa Interview and Humanitarian Parole right away.
Let’s have a hypothetical situation where a U.S. Citizen lady here has a sister stuck in Romania and her niece has a major medical disability.
Step 1. File for a Nonimmigrant Visa – go online to this link and apply for EMERGENCY NONIMMIGRANT US. VISAS (B1/B2). Nature of Emergency: Girl’s medical condition. LINK: https://www.ustraveldocs.com/
Upload any medical paperwork or even photographs if the disability is clearly visible. Preferably, with English translations.
Step 2. Schedule Interview for that B1 Visas for Ukrainian mother and niece with the US Embassy in Romania. Once they successfully scheduled interview go to next step
Step 3. U.S. Citizen Sister should email the US Embassy (referencing the Visa ID number they will receive from the barcoded confirmation sheet for scheduling of the visa interview with case number) a short letter stating the following, signed and dated by her:
✔ I am a naturalized US Citizen. A copy of my US passport and Natz certificate are attached.
✔ I am sister of ______ and aunt of __________, both Ukrainian refugees currently in Romania. They were displaced by the war and my niece ____ has a major medical disability XYZ.
✔ I ask you to approve their Visitor Visas for HUMANITARIAN reasons as my niece ______ urgently needs medical treatment in USA and I am willing to pay for it and take financial responsibility for her and my sister once they arrive in US during their whole visit.
✔ I would like to be a Sponsor for my sister ____ and niece ______ and for this purpose, I attach my last 3 years tax returns, W-2s and paystubs for the past 3 months to prove my financial ability to act as their Sponsor. I will pay for their travel to USA from Romania, room and board, food and medical and necessities expenses.
✔ I attach the completed I-134 Affidavit of Support (form is here) https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 This packet should be emailed to embassy and to have the sister to print out and bring a copy of the entire packet with her to the Interview.
Step 4. If you have any Congressional connections, please have your Congressional person email the Embassy and ask them to help expedite their interview, describe medical problems of the little girl, and ask for special attention and to approve and expedite these visas for HUMANITARIAN reasons.
