🔶1. Travel with open criminal case. Until your criminal case is resolved, you should not leave US and even if you do, you must bring your court dispositions with you and ICE officers will check these upon return.
🔶2. Arrests that become serious convictions. Some convictions are deportable even if they are misdemeanors.
🔶3. Fraud, Lying about something in your papers that can come up at citizenship interview.
🔶4. Fake marriage. If USCIS believes your marriage is fake you may be denied for removal of conditions or even when filing for your kids and consular investigations uncover that your marriage was not real.
🔶5. Voting in Federal Election. You cannot vote in federal elections if you are not yet a US citizen.
